Situated in the High Country of Queensland’s fabulous Darling Downs, the Crows Nest Bowls Club is easily found about forty minutes north of Toowoomba.
We’re located directly opposite the village green and beside the town’s aquatic centre. Simply turn off the New England Highway into Curnow Street, then again into Community Place.
Ample off-street car parking is available at the side of the clubhouse. Come on in and make yourself known – we’re waiting to see you.
We bowl mostly all year round. On Wednesday afternoons the green is available for club members and visiting players and their guests as well, to compete in friendly social games from 12.30 until around 4.30 in the afternoon. Thursdays are also mixed, and managed by the female members of the Club. Saturday is time for competition – men and women take to the green to do battle in their individual intraclub championships or perhaps engage in rounds of the annual pennant series. Finally, Sunday afternoon is our club selected mixed social competition with winning and runners-up prizes usually generously provided by our local sponsors.
